Network connectivity, especially for internet and GSM networks, is a very complex matter. Unlike off-the-shelf products -like for example a vacuum cleaner- a lot of technical, organizational, economical and even political issues are involved. 
Although interface and protocol standards may be defined, rules for interpretation and implementation of those standards are not. Each data communications environment has it's own unique parameters and dynamic aspects. Ignoring all this and thinking that a single 'standard' product can cover all these aspects is foolish and beyond reality. That's why at Necoso we think in terms of solutions, not products...
