Collaboration service

Collaboration projects are projects where I work closely together with engineers of the R&D department of the customer on their hardware/software development activities.
With some projects my role is that of an architect/team leader. With other projects I just help with designing, coding, testing and/or making technical documentation.

Projects targets vary and may involve one or more of the following activities:

  • Helping with design and development of (next generation of) product hardware and/or software.
  • RMA: Investigate defect products that were returned to customer by end-customers.
  • Integration (hardware/software) of new communication modules into an existing product.
  • Searching for replacements of obsolete electronic components and adapt existing software.

Collaboration projects are usually done partly at NeCoSo office, partly at location of customer. Depending on what is needed by customer and what is practically possible.

Office & equipment

The NeCoSo office is well equipped for doing (embedded) software development as well as inspection/building of prototype hardware, see here for details.

Skills & experience

Working in the IT sector for over 35 years, I have developed many skills and gained a lot of experience, see here for summary.

Long term relationships

Although usually I am involved in collaboration projects for only parts of the whole product development cycle, many customers return to me for development support in follow up projects. They consider me an experienced and dedicated partner, not just another supplier.
With some customers I participated in the development of two or three generations of their products!
