The Necoso connectivity solutions are all based on the ID1021 module, either in module, boxed or design-in form.
For simplicity the solutions are categorized in solution groups and a simple 3-character naming system is used to indicate groups. Each name is in the format ‘x2y’ where x and y specify the two interfaces for the solution. Following abbreviations are used for the interfaces:
E = Ethernet
G = GSM (e.g. SMS, GSM data, GPRS)
S = Serial (e.g. RS232, RS485)
O = OEM, (custom interface of OEM manufacturer)
Example: E2S indicates a solution group that implements connectivity between a device with an ethernet interface and a device with a serial interface, e.g. a RS232-to-ethernet bridge.
Connectivity solution matrix
The matrix below shows displays all currently avaible connectivity solutions for the interfaces mentioned above. The solutions are indicated with puzzle piece carrying the name of the solution group. Each piece contains link to the section with more detailed information about the group.
Solutions that do not make sense or Necoso currently cannot provide are indicated with an ‘X’.
Solutions that are readily available are indicated using the color green.
Solutions that are readily available but may require customization are indicated using the color yellow.
Solutions that are OEM specific can be realized on customer request are indicated using the color orange.
(for more details about a specific solutions group click on corresponding puzzle piece in the matrix above)
Note that the solutions mentioned in the solutions matrix above realize connectivity between two physical/logical interfaces only. Most of our products have more than two interfaces. Some of them have an option for an additional (custom) I/O board, see table below. So multi-interface solutions are also possible. Contact us for more information.
Solutions for other types of network interfaces
If you are looking for a connectivity solution for a type of network interface that is currently not mentioned in the connectivity solution matrix above, then don't hesitate to contact us. The fact that such a solution is not mentioned doesn't mean that we cannot build it for you. At Necoso we are continuously expanding our range of solutions to match the requests from our customers. So your feed back is highly appreciated!
Examples of network interface that will be supported by Necoso solutions in the (near) future are:
